The Challenge Week 4

I got busy and forgot to post yesterday.

Starting weight: 285
Last week:286.6
This week: 287.2

I really am trying. It doesn't look like it, but I am.

Tuesday: walked 1 mile & 100 crunches
Thursday: walked 1/2 mile (had to quit because of really bad leg cramps)

It will be better this week. I'm still trying. Last week and this week I've been in lots of pain, physically. I'll try to exercise when I'm not hurting. Pray for me. This pain is getting the better of me right now.

That's alright, AuntieB. Don't get discouraged by the set backs. Try to focus on eating healthily and drinking plenty of water. It's my first week on the challenge and I know we can do this! Keep up the good work.

I agree, don't be discouraged. Keep eating small, healthy portions and increase your water intake. Slow and steady wins the race, right?! :) Keep going! You can do it!

Dont feel down. Keep trying, you are doing the right thing.

One thought...a friend of mine was over weight in her mid section (not sure if thats a problem area for you or not) but she started doing crunches like crazy! In the end her stomach actually got BIGGER. So it seems it shouldnt have but here is what her Doc told her.

As she built muscle in her stomach she was not actually losing the fat and the muscle sitting behind her fat began to look as if she was getting bigger.

Just a thought. I am not working on the tummy till I burn a bit more.
